We compare, contrast, and rank things in everyday life when we’re talking about our favorite things, shopping, or analyzing information. By being given the information they need to make comparisons, students are able to relate what they see in school to the world around them. These cards engage students in discovering the general rules related to comparative and superlative adjectives and will encourage students to use them during communicative activities.
