This set of cards is comprised of words creating opposites. Teaching antonyms (opposites) is an ideal way to increase a young child's ability to communicate. Adding descriptive words greatly increases the level of detail the child can convey, e.g., big rock/small rock, tall boy/short boy, over the fence/under the fence, etc.
